Today a new shinki arrived, and she’s a nurse~ seems like she can do shinki maintenance and also some human medical tasks. Let’s take a review of Busou Shinki, MMS Type Nurse, Bright Feather.
First, let’s take a look at Bright Feather’s box.
That is because she is an MMS1st and unlike the MMS3rd she has a different body, but we’ll get to that later. Also on the side of the box, rather than your usual summary from the maker, she has a Battle Rondo (now terminated) access code so you can use her in it.
It took a while to find out just WHO she is, but thanks to Persocom-san’s review of her, i found out that she is made by Flesh and Steel. She is coded RN044 and made to be a combat nurse… I like the sound of that…
But let’s activate her first, I’m doing this solo because i have reasons in getting her. Besides from being a shinki capable of performing maintenance on other shinkis, she is also quite adept in some human medical treatments.
So, let’s move onto her body ok?
Ok, first let’s start with her face. As you can see her face already has a matte/flat finishing instead of the previously rather glossy coating of the earlier MMS1st’. I consider her and Harmony Grace to be one of the “bridge” shinkis before MMS3rd but after MMS1st.
Moving on to her chest, where as MMS3rd uses a “jacket”-like chest parts to swap, MMS1st still uses a “clip-on” chest, but her armored mode already uses the jacket-like of the MMS3rd, again i don’t know about previous releases yet, but this adds more to the fact that she might be a “bridge” release.
Moving on to her legs, here she is different than MMS3rd legs as her joints connecting her torso and her legs are more “rectangular”.
Also if you noticed, she still has the MMS1st spacers on her legs and wrist, i never knew exactly why they needed those spacers in the first place but oh well.
Moving on, let’s have her equip her armaments and see what she is capable of.
Also if you noticed and I’m sure most of you do, is that when she equips her chest armor, her bust size increases… quite a bit. I’m still confused by the inconsistencies though, if that’s her “planned” size why not make her normal chest plate the same size? I mean come on we’ve seen BIGGER normal chestplates on MMS1st bodies like the ones on Graffias or Ianeira…
Now as you can see she has her blades doubling as her wings on her back, while on her hips she has a… you know, those things you shock people’s heart with. Oh yeah, defibrillators. Considering she uses such medical equipment for close quarter combat means that it’s gonna hurt like hell.
Also as you can see she has it connected to her hip guards, one thing i have to say though is the rubber connectors are hard and sometimes hard to plug in. It’s not impossible, but still hard to do. Then again this is MMS1st, unlike Baby Razz or Sharatang that has a better plug connector.
And here is her … gun? No matter how you look at it it’s a huge-ass syringe, surprisingly human sized though. And no the tip is not a real pointy needle. As you can see she has that heart logo on her syringe, just to ease your mind that the pain inflicted is done out of love…
…NOT, i still hate needles T_T
And if you prefer your angels to be in glasses, she also come with a pair of glasses. There’s an option to choose her eyesight type, i chose to let it go on normal, just so she wouldn’t be helpless without her glasses.
DO NOTE however that the glasses are SMALL, also THIN, care should be taken when handling it because you could accidentally snap it to pieces without effort.
Anyway I’m gonna send her off with that task i planned for her, before i’ll get down to the verdicts
Anyway down to the verdict, yes she is an MMS1st but she already came with some features of the MMS3rd so she is the bridge between models so to speak. I like what they did with her theme, with the weapons and all that, but i think some of them are just blatantly looks like medical equipment. And also if you notice her blades are curved, much like a surgical scalpel, this is the only thing i don’t dig about her.
So with it I will give her a:
So anyway this sums up my review of Busou Shinki’s MMS Type Nurse – Bright Feather. Got one more incoming, then another 3… don’t ask my wallet is bleeding already from that…
