Hey folks, sorry. I’m still sick. But luckily today something came that cheered me up a lot. Maybe i won’t have the same tone as i used to but i hope you all will enjoy this review of Busou Shinki’s Baby Razz.
Let’s start with the box shall we?
Personally i love the artworks on the box. It really shows razz as being… razz? But that aside i also noticed that she is a small-type shinki, this makes her my first small sized shinki. The reason i want her so bad was because i fell in love with her design from day one. Way before i picked up Honoka. Not that Honoka isn’t a love at first sight but razz was the one that actually had me looking the shinki’s way in the first place.
On the side of the box, says here, she is made by Avant Physique. Now the kick here is, as far as my bad japanese reading skills go, i can make out that Avast Physique wasn’t originally a shinki maker. They are an audio company known for high quality hand-made speakers. They decided to jump into the shinki bandwagon and made a pair. Baby Razz an electric guitar type shinki and Sharatang, a violin type shinki. Baby Razz utilizes the APV14 type resonators from Avant Physique, displaying a really amazing fidelity and sound range enabling Razz to be able to hit it like there’s no tomorrow. EDIT : APV14 apparently is the code for her “sister” Sharatang. The speakers/resonators used for Razz isn’t mentioned here. Only a short description of its cone like shape to direct sonic sound waves produced from her instruments.
Now onto her contents.
She came with quite a lot of parts… But anyway, i’d love to get into detail of each but I’m really sorry for being sick. Even writing this takes its toll little by little. So let’s go and activate her ok?

Well basically said, she is a small type shinki so her unarmored height is shorter than Honoka and Miho. But i love her details on the shirt and face though, it’s really crisp and “sharp”. Also i didn’t run into any loose joints or loose hands and wrist like some shinki has. Some say they got their Razz with a loose leg joint but i didn’t encounter such unfortunate event.
So let’s move on to the armored review.
Well her armor was a helluva complicated to put on. Honoka and Miho helped too but let me tell you this, Razz will probably be one of the shinki where you ACTUALLY NEED to read the instructions on how to assemble…
Moving on to the huge mass that is sitting on her backside. It’s a battery compartment, i don’t really fancy gimmicks but let’s just see how it fares. Since it took up a lot of mass on her back. Anyway when everything is put together we can-
Ok i take it all back, this one gimmick rocks hard. HARD. There are two modes in how you want her resonators to light up, a permanent stay-on light or a pulsing beat. Check this video out, i made it.

Anyway if you think this is all she has to offer? Damn, you’re so wrong. Her armor can be transformed into a full drum set utilizing the stand as the throne or base for it.
This just blew me away… literally…
So how do i rate her? Jeez, i don’t know about you guys, but personally i think Baby Razz and Sharatang are the pair that every shinki enthusiast MUST HAVE. But then again for those who are not interested in shinkis she is still a great deal, if you can find her that is. She’s nowhere to be found except for second hand markets now and sold for a minimum of ￥８０００ … I was lucky i got her mint and sealed at Yahoo Auctions Japan for only 6000.
So with this i deem her.
She played quite a nice tune while i was editing this document… Mild yet not making you sleepy at all. I guess Honoka and Miho enjoyed her performance as well.
Anyway Honoka and Miho filled her in on the what-goes-on around my place, quite into the night.
Right about when i was going to finish this review, Eiko came over to me. I thought she was in sleep mode already.

Pulsing lights? Drum set? Wow. She’s packing a LOT of equipment for a small one.

Well, Master is back in bed resting. But personally i think she is just plain hyper, not that it’s a bad thing. Considering how she is rather… calm when she realized Master is sick.
As a fellow shinki i do think she packs quite a lot, and as far as Avant Physique goes, all her weapons and drum set are part of her armor. So if she’s not using it she most probably be seen wearing them.

Hey Yama-san and Girls. I was thinking something about the blog and I think this gonna be helpfull to put certain things about new Figures. Please dont see it Like a request but a suggestion.
I was thinking if the new itens pre-ordered arrive and others revoltechs. My “if” suggestion is:
For revoltech Nowa: to Put Annellote and Alleyne to do the review. i think it may let Alleyne happy to greet her first student. and Annelotte Will like to see Her senpai
For Figma tsubasa: Koyomi doing the review alone or with Eiko-chan. and You can put both BGS and Both dead masters to keep an Eye at senjyogahara to stop her to do anything to make Koyomi Angry

If Shiro Emiya, saber or any other figma of FSN appear, let it with Rider

If I’m not mistaken, she also comes with a bass guitar as a melee weapon right?
Uh, and I heard her twin-tail base is kinda vulnerable to breakage due to the combination of over-adhesive property of her hair paint and the tightness of the slot. I think you should be careful when moving them ^^”

I agree that she is a very lively one… probably not as obnoxious as Honoka but she’s very energetic. It makes everything fresh around here.
