Welcome to another of my figure reviews… Bored yet? Well hang on just a few more reviews as these are delayed reviews… Yes, i bought a lot in the past month that i haven’t had a chance to do a review each one. So here we go, with last review’s star Alleyne, now in turn, review another figure which is. Nakano Azusa of K-ON~!
As you can see, the box itself has nothing too extravagant but it does the job of displaying all that comes with Azusa. The front shows most of her accessories like her Fender® Mustang and Amp along with the nekomimi and … a … we’ll get there.
Azusa came with:
- 2 Alternate faceplates
- 4 extra arms
- 1 extra leg
- 1 nekomimi
- 1 Fender® Classic Series ’65 Mustang® replica
- 1 Amp
- 1 Guitar strap
- and … a cat…
… she’s cute … ANYWAY, let’s take a look at her more closely.
From the front you can see that she retains the detail of her previous friends, with a detailed uniform including its little parts like the tie and the buttons, down to her socks and shoes. Nothing much to see here right now…
And from the back, it’s visible now that her twintails are jointed, even though each joint can only move to one direction. This is still good news however, that with these joints it allows more fun to be had in posing her for various scenes and shots.
Azusa, you have a cat on your head Σ( ̄。 ̄ノ)ノ
The first accessory i would like to jump to is… THE CAT. Yes, a cat. It does nothing actually, but damn does it serves various comical purposes. Fun to play and taken a picture with… And that alternate face of hers is priceless… almost as priceless as the pic of Snape used in “dafuq” meme ☆彡
Oh hell yes i do~
Ladies and gentlemen, that is, by all accounts, a replica of the American Classic ’65 Mustang® Fender® electric guitar. It’s completely detailed including the amp. Which is always a wow point for me. Yes, i dig musical details because I’m an audiophile. I can tell if someone loved their guitars just by hearing it being played… ( ̄ω ̄;) It’s an ear thing; i can hear, i can split, i can tell what instrument is used, and how it’s being played.
…
…
The pic is self explanatory, the level of moe-ness is overwhelming my ability to type…
And there you have it folks, Azunyan in all her glory? Subjectively speaking, is she worth it? YES. Is she cute? YES. Is she adorable? LIKE A BOSS~!
If you collect adorable and cute nendos, get her. If you collect cute faceplates, get her. If you want the accessories, get her. If you like K-ON, get her. If you like Azunyan, get her.
My verdict? GET HER! Trust me, she is one of those nendoroids that pictures can’t do justice. Hold one yourself and see…

Soooo cute!!! I like the picture with the cat on her head. I lol’d on that one.
i find that pic cute and funny myself, with the cat being all = w=) and all.
> 3<)/
SOOOO CUTE! I’m gonna melt!
Like i said, pics only do her so much justice. \(//∇//)\
btw, how do you do the comic callouts? is it just photoshop? or you use certain application for that? I just would like to try out making comics too.
@darkandchoco Personally i prefer to do my speech bubbles with PS, because it has more flexibility and freedom rather than using image macros or specific softwares.
But for a fast and easy speech bubble and comic text effects you can go to http://www.superlame.com/
Thanks!! =3
oh my the Nendoroids are coming fast and furious~ Ah yesss Azunyan~ is just one of those Nendos that are too moe to believe until you see her for yourself. I have her and she is really adorable. The cat ear stand is pretty suitable for her as well. Nyaaa~
~nyan!
that one word is all i can describe her moeness with XD
I agree! Nyan!~
A cat? I guess it’s her cat from the anime haha. Didn’t expect her to come with one. I like her surprised face, really cute.
The cat is very useful for various purposes, mostly comical but it’s useful. ^ _^)
